Fourth of July Weekend!
Andy had a four day weekend for the Fourth of July holiday! On Friday we went to a park and had a picnic. Andy and the guys played frisbee golf and us girls watched the kids on the playground. Then we went shopping! :) Then on Friday night, our friends Ashley and Tyler watched Peyton so we could go on a date! We went to dinner at Chilis and went to the movies to see Grown Ups. GRown Ups was sold out and so we got tickets for a movie that was scheduled to start about 15 minutes later. So we sat in the theater for awhile, watched 5 animated kid previews and then Toy Story 3 started! The dang people at the theater screwed up and had the wrong movie in our theater. We could either get a refund or a pass. One or the other! Lame!! So we just went home and played games with our friends. Then on Saturday we went to a big barbeque at the Hughes house. It was a really great time! Sunday we had samores and watched the fireworks. Today we ate leftover barbeque food from Saturday and went swimming! So much fun this weekend! We are exhausted!

Mud Run 2010
Here is the before and after picture of "Muscle Team of Danger and Excellence." We kind of rinsed off before we took the after picture. Just picture us with a lot more mud. We ended up winning 2nd place in the men's team category. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to the team for coming together and thanks to Byron for the uniforms.

Family trip to Chicago
Last week Lisa and I went to Chicago for 6 days. I had to go for work on a Secret Service assignment. I ended up getting a little bit of time off to spend with Lisa and Peyton, but they still made the most of staying downtown. As a matter of fact, we all made the most of the trip. For Lisa and Peyton it was seeing some cool stuff. For me, it was eating all of the famous local foods to include: polish sausage, Giordano's pizza, Al's Italian beef sandwich, Chicago style hot dog, and Garrett's Popcorn.

Peyton loves the water
Here Peyton is putting an egg into a shopping cart at the Children's Museum at Navy Pier. She loves shopping, just like her mom!

She loves to push things around. She did this for about half an hour.
There was a little spot where she could splash around in the water and play with toys. This is also one of her favorite things to do.
"I'm on a boat!" While I was working, Lisa and Peyton took a boat ride down the river and into they lake. Although Peyton was restless, they had fun.
