Christmas Party 2007

Alright, the Christmas party was this last weekend. First of all, we had a ridiculous sweater competition. We all had to get the most horrendous attire we could find. The winner was Hern who wore a Christmas dress and a red turtle neck. Pretty ridiculous! Then we had a feast, a gift exchange, and played games for a while. It was a good time. Here are all the ridiculous pics you've been waiting to see. There is also a pic in there of Lisa and I at her work Christmas party. Not nearly as cool clothing.

New Friends

The first picture here is of Baxter and Sally (the maschger's toy poodle). Alright, this last week, we met some new friends (Well, I guess I already knew Nick from school but we had never hung out before). Anyway, they are the Mosier's and they are a lot of fun. They are Nick and Jessica and they have two pugs, Lucy and Zoe. Here is a pic of all of us at the Christmas party wearing our ridiculous sweaters. Then here is Baxter playing with his new girlfriends. Its great meeting new friends.

December 2007

Sorry we haven't put anything up here in a while. I wish we had an excuse, but I guess not. Here are a couple pics for your viewing enjoyment. First, myself, eating octopus. It was a little bit rubbery. Then, Lisa and I in front of a giant Christmas tree. Don't be fooled, its not New York. After that, is a replica of THE General Lee. Pretty sweet also. Lisa and I are standing in front of a giant flag at the armament museum. And lastly, Lisa and I are standing in front of a vehicle that says EOD on it, even though it was never officially used for that purpose.

Blue Angels Airshow

This weekend, Lisa and I went out to Pensacola Naval Air Station to see the Blue Angels homecoming. Traffic was ridiculous, but the entertainment value was uncomparable. It was a blast.

A Package for Baxter

This week, my mom sent Baxter a package. He was so excited to get it that he tore it right open. It was pretty hilarious.

The Okaloosa County fair

This weekend the fair was in town and we lived it up. There was a circus that was pretty awesome and then we rode all the rides. There is nothing scarier than a ride at the fair. Not because they are really huge, but becasue you don't know if they are going to fall apart, or what.

Out of AIR

Well, finally it has happened. I am out of AIR! It was about 6 and a half weeks, but it is finally over. Outside the building is our practice area and there is a little archway with a guided missle over it, and a bell on the archway. The tradition is that when you graduate air, you walk through the archway and ring the bell. So, on Friday, October 26, 2007, my class rang the bell to "Highway to the danger zone". Then, we all shaved our mustaches underneath the archway. Man it feels good to get that off my face. So, here are some pics of my class, and us having some fun around the archway. In the background you can see an F14 and some other cool ordnance items.

Baxter's Sweater

Here is little Baxter in his new sweater. Is it a coincidence that the sweater is burnt orange? I think not. When we put this on Baxter, he seems pretty content, but as soon as we leave the room, it comes off. I don't even think a straight jacket could stop this little Houdini!

Check out the stache

Wow, this is only two weeks. I look like Mario. well, minus the hair.

Lisa's first day of work

Here Lisa is in her uniform as she starts her first day at the Child Devolpment Center. I think a brighter color might be a little more exciting for the children.

A surprise from Baxter

Alright, the other night, Lisa and I went out to see a movie and get dinner and when we came home, Baxter's cage was wide open. We called out his name and from the love sac, his little head popped up. The real surprise is what he left on the carpet!

The Air-Stache

Alright, so I am growing a mustache. I am in the longest division of the school right now, which is Air. In lieu of that, myself and all of my classmates are growing mustaches or, "air-staches!" So far, I haven't got lower than a 95 on a test.

Bath time with Baxter

We just got Baxter some new shampoo because he is stinky. He is not quite the water dog. Oh well, at least he is a little more "fresh."

Tug of war

One of Baxter's favorite games, other than go potty on the carpet is Tug of War. Here he is yanking the cord of the camera.

The rest of our time in Alabama

Here are some of the other things we did while in Alabama. We ate BBQ at some place in downtown Birmingham. Then, on the way home we stopped at this huge peach. It was pretty awesome. We took some silly pics and then enjoyed a juicy Alabama peach. Good times!

Our trip to the Birmingham Alabama Temple!

This weekend, we took a road trip with our friends Evan and Eileen Maschger. It was a five hour drive, and the temple was beautiful. We took some serious pics and then we had a little fun too. All in all, it was a great trip.
