Mud Run 2010

Here is the before and after picture of "Muscle Team of Danger and Excellence." We kind of rinsed off before we took the after picture. Just picture us with a lot more mud. We ended up winning 2nd place in the men's team category. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to the team for coming together and thanks to Byron for the uniforms.

Random Pictures

Here are some random pictures from the last week or so
Here Peyton pulled her bib over her head and got macaroni in her hair and then she laughed at us.

Family trip to Chicago

Last week Lisa and I went to Chicago for 6 days. I had to go for work on a Secret Service assignment. I ended up getting a little bit of time off to spend with Lisa and Peyton, but they still made the most of staying downtown. As a matter of fact, we all made the most of the trip. For Lisa and Peyton it was seeing some cool stuff. For me, it was eating all of the famous local foods to include: polish sausage, Giordano's pizza, Al's Italian beef sandwich, Chicago style hot dog, and Garrett's Popcorn.
"I'm on a boat!" While I was working, Lisa and Peyton took a boat ride down the river and into they lake. Although Peyton was restless, they had fun.

Still on the boat

Swimming at the hotel pool

Peyton loves the water

Here Peyton is putting an egg into a shopping cart at the Children's Museum at Navy Pier. She loves shopping, just like her mom!

She loves to push things around. She did this for about half an hour.

There was a little spot where she could splash around in the water and play with toys. This is also one of her favorite things to do.

Yummy!

Here we are at Navy Pier

Lisa and Peyton on the ferris wheel. Who knew that it was going to be that chilly!

A nice picture of downtown

Lisa was able to go to a Memorial Day parade and this was one of the floats.
