Family trip to Chicago

Last week Lisa and I went to Chicago for 6 days. I had to go for work on a Secret Service assignment. I ended up getting a little bit of time off to spend with Lisa and Peyton, but they still made the most of staying downtown. As a matter of fact, we all made the most of the trip. For Lisa and Peyton it was seeing some cool stuff. For me, it was eating all of the famous local foods to include: polish sausage, Giordano's pizza, Al's Italian beef sandwich, Chicago style hot dog, and Garrett's Popcorn.
"I'm on a boat!" While I was working, Lisa and Peyton took a boat ride down the river and into they lake. Although Peyton was restless, they had fun.

Peyton loves the water

Here Peyton is putting an egg into a shopping cart at the Children's Museum at Navy Pier. She loves shopping, just like her mom!

She loves to push things around. She did this for about half an hour.

There was a little spot where she could splash around in the water and play with toys. This is also one of her favorite things to do.

Yummy!

A nice picture of downtown

Lisa was able to go to a Memorial Day parade and this was one of the floats.

She loves to push the stroller, but heaven forbid you take it away from her.

Peyton's new thing is that she loves to point

Peyton got to pet the goats.
