Today I went to Camelback Mountain, which is a really tough hike. It is more like mountain climbing than hiking. It was pretty fun though. I went with my good friend Lien and her mom. When we reached the top, Lien wanted to take a picture jumping in the air, and i thought, "ooo good idea i want to do that too!" I didn't land right and fell on my knees and shins. Got a few cuts and scrapes...it was pretty embarassing. And there was quite a few people around too. :)

Peyton isn't crawling yet, but can sure move around and somehow managed to get caught in the Christmas tree lights! It was kinda sad and funny!
Today we went to the fiesta bowl parade in Phoenix! We saw John Cena, Darth Vador, and my favorite part, was seeing the big group of Air Force men and women. Everyone was cheering and clapping and it was so cool to show them that we really appreciate their sacrifices and services! Go military! woohoo! Then we went to Ikea! I love that store. The nearest Ikea is about 300 miles away from us back in Illinois. I got some cute pictures of Peyton checking out the different furniture and toys. Her favorite song is the one with the monkies teasing Mr. Alligator and then Mr. Alligator comes and snatches a monkey out of the tree? i think it is called "5 little monkeys." Ok that sounds bad, but its a cute song and she loves it, and my mom and I saw a long stuffed alligator animal and she loves it so i got it for her. I will have to video her with it sometime. Its so cute. :)
The Johnson's were established August 5, 2006. We met at a crosswalk in AZ. Since then, Andy joined the Air Force and we have lived in Florida and now Illinois. In Sept. of 2007 we added Baxter to the family. On March 15, 2009, beautiful Peyton Michelle Johnson arrived. Andy returned from Iraq in February and once again our family is together again. As always, we are lovin life and making the most of it no matter where we are.
